Any thoughts. From what I’ve found this was is a made in china fender any thoughts on those or perhaps anyone owned this model, personally the overall idea of semi hollow p90 telecaster sounds great but I might just be delusional…. Good price, I’m sure it sounds nice.

The only comparison I have seen to the playability of this neck was on a vintage 1977 Stratocaster. The finish on this guitar is great. It allows some of the natural wood to show through and will wear nicely. In today's market with some after market upgrades this guitar will be much nicer than a Chinese Fender for nearly double the price. As King of Cheapo Guitars, Fenders and Squiers have a very high return on any funds put into setup. Then comes pickups, pots and things like that I totally get what someone would want a gorgeous Fender, but feel a Squier can be made a highly usable guitar for very little. CNC has totally leveled the playing field. The very clever bit however, is the electronics; sounds come courtesy of an under-saddle piezo and a custom-designed Fishman Acoustic Engine preamp, while there’s also an Acoustasonic Shawbucker humbucker below the soundhole for electrified sounds.
